My practice concerns engage with architecture, design, urbanism, geography among other sciences. It investigates the representation systems of these fields to find influences in our understanding of space and time, and inform the ways to build relations with these phenomena.
Based upon the research on transformations of visual and material culture associated to modernity, my work aims to examine the rational foundations on which this process is sustained while speculate with new possible interplays between different disciplines in raising synergetic engagements with the world and reality.
Across wide-ranging media including site-specific installations, sculpture, drawings, objects, and photography , as a whole with visual elements such as light, geometry, grids, structures and old technical tools; over the last years my work has devoted itself to analize the rational logics that lie beneath the concept of “Project“ and projecting as a modern heritage. The main porpouse: revealing tensions and discrepancies between mental and phisical spaces, and exploring sensory experiences that may foster thoughts on theses issues.
