Unfold, 2012
The installation Unfold aims to confront systems of representation used in architecture and design with the way we percive and interact with every day objects: An ordinary table has been produced likewise its technical layout with its different sides displayed, while the lines of each edge are projected on the wall in low relief. The result from such exercise is an item occupying a place amidst the mental and the real space, a sort of abstract thing that, despite its aesthetical values, reveals a state prescribing the limits of our relation with every day objects and spaces. |
